Performers will interact with visitors throughout the day while contributing to the ongoing stories of Calico’s residents.

The town of Calico is home to a wide range of characters from young dreamers to seasoned townsfolk. We welcome a diverse spectrum of gender identities, ethnic and cultural backgrounds who can bring those stories to life to audition. Bi-lingual performers are strongly encouraged to attend.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Line Producer to lead day-to-day operations on a boundary-breaking, large-scale, multidisciplinary live production. The show is a technologically ambitious experience set to redefine what live entertainment can be, and will be staged in a purpose-built venue in Las Vegas as a permanent residency for millions of guests to experience for years to come.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong grasp of production logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and timeline oversight. You’ll be responsible for translating a creative vision into a detailed production plan and ensuring it is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest standard.

This role is about operational excellence—creating production schedules, coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing labor and vendor contracts, tracking costs and approvals, and ensuring all elements are aligned and integrated. You’ll be expected to maintain smooth, ongoing communication between creative, technical, and production departments and keep the entire production team aligned throughout pre-production, build, rehearsal, and live execution phases.

Albany Park Theater Project (APTP) seeks a Story Gathering Lead to anchor the community story collection and curation process for Spaces Albany Park, an ambitious public art project culminating in a large-scale, promenade-style, neighborhood-based performance in September/October 2027.

Spaces Albany Park will transform the streets, storefronts, sacred spaces, and gathering places of Albany Park into a living stage. Over 18 months, hundreds of residents will participate in story circles, with 100 community members ultimately sharing their own stories publicly in Fall 2027.

The Story Gathering Lead will have primary responsibility for coordinating and leading story circles across the neighborhood; building and maintaining relationships with at least two dozen community partners; conducting in-depth interviews with community members; and tracking and synthesizing story material. They will also serve as one of a small team that coaches selected storytellers in preparation for performance.

This role requires exceptional listening skills, a high level of organization and self direction, and a deep belief in the power of community-based storytelling. Ability to facilitate workshops in both  English and Spanish is preferred.

In 2026, three to five projects will be selected through the open call and supplemented by up to two invitational projects. Art + Technology Lab grants are open to individuals and collectives located anywhere in the world. Grants typically have a duration of two years and may provide financial support of up to $50,000 per project to cover artist fees and direct costs, including materials. Recipients may also receive in-kind support, such as mentorship, coaching, advice, and exposure to technologies in development at partner organizations, including Hyundai Motor, Snap Inc., Anthropic, and other companies; independent artists and academics working in art and technology from organizations such as the MIT Media Lab Space Exploration Initiative and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory have also participated. Applicants are welcome to propose additional potential collaborators or mentors, including past Lab grantees.

We are particularly interested in exploratory ideas and proposals that leave room for refinement in collaboration with technologists and the museum. In addition, preference will be given to projects that are publicly accessible, consistent with LACMA’s mission, and produce models, prototypes, data, code, or other material that can be shared broadly.

Culture House Immersive is an immersive studio founded by Culture House Media and immersive pioneer Mikhael Tara Garver.

We are in development on our first slate of narrative-driven immersive experiences and storyworlds, and we’re gathering a wider circle of collaborators to help build them.

We’re seeking submissions from writers, designers, composers, filmmakers, generative performers, creative technologists, generative directors, and creative producers to join our “creators rooms,” where we build out the world and the project together.

You may or may not have done anything like this before; what matters most is that you are curious, generous in process, and excited by making something new with others. We’re developing work where live performance, interactive technology, and rich narrative overlap, and we’re looking for talent for projects beginning this spring and continuing into 2027.
