LA CASTING NOTICE: The Zombie’s Monologue
Looking for an actor for a one man show (The Zombie’s Monologue) in Los Angeles.
Synopsis: Humanity’s gone, wiped out by the much anticipated zombie apocalypse. Now the zombies are dying out. Soon the earth will have peace. Lynch, a middle-aged zombie, has been wandering alone since the zombie’s food supply disappeared and his horde disbanded. Art museums have been pulling him in, holding his attention, though his lack of brain activity has made it impossible for him to make sense of why. That is, until tonight.
LYNCH (male, mid 30's-mid 40’s) Lynch is a 35-year-old male zombie with a dark and imposing physical presence. Prior to becoming a zombie he was a doting husband and engaging high school art teacher and cross-country coach. He gives an extended monologue telling his life story and his newfound nihilism in a post-human world. Actor should be comfortable with some immersive (light) elements. Any ethnicity.
E-mail headshot and resume to zombiemonologues@gmail.com with the subject line: Submission for LYNCH.
