Brack Shop Tavern in DTLA serves as host to what promises to be a good old fashioned 90s party, complete with show fliers, grunge tunes, food and drinks, and a cast of characters straight from the mosh pit.

Fittingly, LA weather is helping to set the mood of 90s era Seattle for this one night only event.

Press Release Follows

Brack Shop Tavern is partnering with Sampson Creative Enterprises to host a themed pop-up event called Grunge Shop Tavern! Attendees will be transported to the Pacific Northwest in the year 1991, where tie dye and batik tapestries cover flat screen TVs, neon signs glow in the darkness, and Nirvana and Pearl Jam concert fliers make for unique photo opps throughout the space.

Not merely a pop-up, Grunge Shop Tavern will also serve as an immersive, interactive experience for guests. Atmospheric actors strategically placed throughout the space will interact with guests to further the nineties narrative. A fictitious bar owner called “Old Doug” will regale guests with stories about how the bar played a role in the emerging grunge music scene in 1991.

A special menu will reflect regional PNW favorites with a focus on sharable plates to encourage communal dining. Featured menu items include:

Crab and Artichoke Dip with Flatbread

Smoked Wild Mushroom and Gouda Quesadillas

Pacific Oysters On The Half Shell

Salmon Pastrami Sliders

Inside Out Tillamook Burgers

The night’s drink selection will play off 90s favorites, while using quality 2019 ingredients. Cocktails include:

Portlandian (Cosmo)

DB Cooper (Kamikaze)

White Washingtonian (White Russian)

Mookie Tai (Mai Tai)

Superunknown (mystery drink)

Staying on theme, the cover charge to experience this unique themed space is only $5 advance or at the door. A portion of proceeds will benefit the volunteer program LA Works. For more details and advance ticket sales, please visit www.experiencesce.com.
