Freeform brings back their Halloween pop-up with a roadside twist

LA’s Heritage Square Museum, which is no stranger to the LA immersive theatre scene, will play host to the Freeform network’s annual Halloween pop-up event.

While last year’s live event for the cable net’s 31 Nights of Halloween was a spooky selfie palace, this year’s event will be a drive-thru of the film worlds of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus along with other “games, performances, and surprises.”

While there are scant details about the event at present, knowing the layout of Heritage Square we can anticipate something that might feel like driving through a block with a most elaborate holiday light display. Only for Halloween. Well, with Nightmare, a little bit of Halloween and a little bit of Christmas. Just how we like it.

The event will run October 2–4th. Tickets are free, but reservations are required and it’s a good idea to get on the waitlist now before they drop on Sep. 12th at 10AM. They will almost certainly vanish faster than you can say Oogie Boogie.
