Call for Digital Works
Contact Digital Program Director tim@anywhere.is
Deadline: Wed. Feb. 24, 2021

Anywhere Festival runs in the area surrounding Brisbane, Australia with a population of around three million people. As part of the tenth year of the festival celebrating performance in non-traditional spaces and forms we are now including works that can be presented online from around the world.

Previous festivals have held shows on the decks of ships, in lighthouses, pools, hedge mazes and via Twitter and Skype.

You will be part of a print and online program that is distributed across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Ipswich and Moreton Bay regions.

We are looking for projects that push the envelope and demonstrate what is possible in the online sphere and to be featured within the program.

Events will be ticketed with 80% of ticket sales going to producers of the work. Our audiences will attend online and in several live screening rooms in hub locations.

Contact Digital Program DIrector tim@anywhere.is by Wednesday 24 February to talk in more detail.

Live Now Commissions
The Lowry
Looking for: interactive art that can be delivered digitally from UK artists
Deadline: 5PM, Friday 26 Feb., 2021

Information Link

The Lowry is thrilled to announce three commissions of £10,000 each for mid-career artists and companies to create new work for the lockdown age for presentation via our #LoveLowry programme, through which we collate and present a series of online performances, exhibitions and more for audiences while our doors are closed.

A year into these strange times, we want to provide space for artists to reimagine their practice for digital stages like ours, to explore how best we can connect to each other and to the art we consume when we are so physically removed from the performance.
